A DJ built for San Francisco weddings

One artist for the whole city — from a SoMa loft to a Financial District club.

San Francisco weddings come in every style — a converted warehouse loft in SoMa, a historic private club downtown, a garden ceremony by the Bay. I built my Hybrid Advantage specifically for couples who want live music and a real DJ set without hiring two separate vendors.

I open with live acoustic guitar and vocals for your ceremony and cocktail hour, then transition seamlessly into a full DJ and MC set for the reception. The exposed-brick, industrial-loft aesthetic that defines so many SoMa venues is one of my favorite settings to perform in — but I bring the same hybrid experience to any San Francisco venue.

What sets this hybrid apart

Not just a DJ. Not just a musician.

Most San Francisco wedding vendors do one thing well. I built my business around doing three things well, from the same booking, with the same person in the room all night.

The Hybrid Advantage

Live acoustic guitar and vocals for your ceremony and cocktail hour, then a seamless transition into a professional DJ and MC set for the reception — one vendor, one contract, zero changeover gap.

Bilingual, English & Vietnamese

I grew up speaking Vietnamese and built my first music career in Vietnam. For multicultural San Francisco crowds, I DJ and MC comfortably in both languages, live, by the same person.

The Real-Time Jukebox

Guests request songs directly from their phone, see the live queue, and vote songs up. They can even leave a public message or dedication that I read out on the mic. No shouting over the music — it keeps the dance floor full and makes every guest feel like the night is theirs too.

What San Francisco clients are saying

Trusted at private clubs, galas and receptions across the city.

“Lolah was so amazing at the Amador Club in San Fran. She mixed it up, I heard songs I haven’t in a long time, she played the hits and took requests. She made the evening so memorable. Highly recommend.”

Nicholas Di Iorio · Amador Club, San Francisco

“Lolah sang at me and my husband’s wedding for the ceremony and dinner service, and she did absolutely amazing! She brought all her own equipment, set up and sang at all the right times, and has the voice of an angel. I highly recommend Lolah for your event, especially for weddings!”

Michael Bowe · Wedding Ceremony & Reception

“Lolah was very professional and had my wedding guests very entertained! I highly recommend her, very easy to work with!”

Dan Islas · Wedding Reception

“Lolah killed it at our GGU SGA Gala. The energy she brought was crazy in the best way, completely on point with every song. If you need someone who can actually read a room and keep the party going, book Lolah.”

Harikrishna P S · GGU SGA Gala

I’ve also performed at San Francisco landmarks including the Ferry Building, Yerba Buena Gardens, and Sens Restaurant on the Embarcadero.

Frequently asked

San Francisco wedding DJ questions.

What’s the difference between hiring a DJ and hiring you for a hybrid wedding?

A regular DJ starts at the reception. I open your ceremony and cocktail hour with live acoustic guitar and vocals, then transition into a full DJ and MC set once it’s time to dance — all from one vendor, with no changeover gap and no second contract to manage.

Do you offer bilingual DJ and MC services in Vietnamese?

Yes — I grew up speaking Vietnamese and built my first music career there before moving to the Bay Area. I DJ and MC comfortably in both English and Vietnamese, live, so multicultural crowds all feel included in the announcements and the music.

What is the Jukebox feature, and how does it work?

Guests can request songs directly from their phone, see the live queue, and vote songs up. They can even leave a public message or dedication that I read out on the mic. It keeps the energy high and gives everyone a reason to stay on the dance floor.

What San Francisco venues have you performed at?

I’ve personally performed at the Amador Club, the Ferry Building, Yerba Buena Gardens, Sens Restaurant on the Embarcadero, and events at Golden Gate University, along with private weddings and receptions across the city. If your venue isn’t on this list, just ask — I’m happy to share what I know about it.

What does it cost to book you for a San Francisco wedding?

My packages start at $2,000, with the final quote depending on format, hours and production scale. Share your date and vision and I’ll put together an accurate quote for your day.

How far in advance should we book you for a San Francisco wedding?

San Francisco weekends book up quickly, especially in spring and fall, so I’d recommend reaching out 6 to 12 months ahead to secure your date. Last-minute openings do come up occasionally, so it’s always worth asking.
